Transmitter Art Projects is an exhibition format developed by Transmitter, conceived to contribute to Berlin's art scene. The program offers a platform for artists to exhibit their work to the public.
Our first exhibition, "Traute haben“, presented in our former space in Neukölln, marked the beginning of the cultural program "Transmitter Art Projects" in 2014. In the following years, the program also exhibited "Die Gezeiten" (2016) and "Receiver" (2018), amongst others. 2018 and 2019 followed "RECEIVER" and "I can't recall the melody, but it was beautiful" in Neukölln. Transmitters new site in the heart of Kreuzberg was celebrated with the exhibition "Japanese Illustrations in Berlin" in summer 2019. Since 2020 the project series expanded with the workshop "Alphabet Soup" and the online exhibition "THE PULSE UNDER MY SKIN".
Our art projects aim towards giving young international artists the opportunity to document the social, cultural and interactive happenings in the city and show them in exhibitions, readings and discussions.
We're currently working on new projects and are excited to share them with you soon. So stay tuned!
