In the beginning of March the first session of the Arts & Language Workshop series took place. Under the motto "alphabet soup", we met here at Transmitter for an afternoon to exchange our learning and teaching experiences with the German language and in particular to examine textbook series such as Menschen or Sicher! closely. The two workshop leaders Ximena and Rowan, who study Art in Context at the University of Arts and have a lot of learning experience with German themselves, designed the workshop as a recipe. Besides cutting-up textbooks, recollaging and reinterpreting photos we also prepared a wonderful vegetable soup together.
